Where are the events throughout the venue? The welcome dinner, ceremony, aperitivo & reception are all in different spaces around the main grounds of the estate. Nearer the time we will send out some updates so you know exactly where to go on the days!
-
What are the dress codes? For the Welcome Dinner Tuscan Garden Party (semi-formal) Crisp, summery & chic, like you've stepped off the set of The Talented Mr Ripley. The Wedding Day Formal, but fabulous. The venue may be rustic, but the dress code is not, it's a Wedding in Italy - so turn it out! Guys - suits (linen is fine), shirts and ties. Ladies - long to floor length dresses in silks, satins, chiffons... etc etc. P.S: Do keep in mind that the venue is an old Italian farm with varied terrain, so block/sturdy heels are advised. P.P.S: For the avoidance of doubt (don't ask me why I have to state this) please refrain from wearing white at any Wedding events. Red completely acceptable, of course.
-
Are the events al fresco?Weather permitting (lets pray), all events will be outside, Under the Tuscan Sun! We will have wet weather plans in place incase things do go wrong though.
-
Gifts?"Your presence is our present" etc etc. But in all seriousness - it truly is! We could not want for anything more than your best feet on the dance floor.
-
Are children invited? No. Sadly (lie), this is a adults-only party! So the children need to be left at home so we can demand your full attention. The few you will see running about the place are our Nieces + Nephews, who naturally have been beaten into submission by Gabriella over the years - so know not to misbehave!
-
Can I bring a plus one?Your invite is for you and you only, as we would like to keep the event as intimate as possible with only people nearest and dearest to us there. We appreciate your understanding!
-
Will transportation be provided to and from the venue if I am not staying at the venue?Yes, we've got you covered! Once we have the details of where everyone will be staying, we'll arrange a shuttle bus to and from the venue on the Wedding Day. Please note that taxis are limited in the area, so keep this in mind when planning your weekend.
-
Is there parking on site?Yes there is ample parking on site, just a few minutes walk from the action.
-
What food + meals will be provided if I am staying at the venue? The below meals will be catered for you, so you don't have to worry about those. You will however need to sort your own breakfast across all days, and then lunch/dinner on 1 or 2, depending on the length of your stay. All villas have fully equipped kitchens. With lots of local towns nearby for lovely lunches + dinners available! Saturday 30th - Dinner Sunday 31st - Dinner (a big one, so save yourself!) Monday 1st - Lunch Tea, coffee + milk will be provided in the villas.
-
Will I need a car if I am staying at the venue? The venue is very remote, with the nearest small town being a 45-minute walk, and Siena a 15-minute drive away. The easiest (and cheapest) way to get to the venue is by car and once you are on site, you won't need for much as you will be wined & dined for the majority of the weekend. If you are choosing to stay the full 4 nights you may wish to have a car to explore after the festivities come to an end. Best bet is to group together with friends or family and hire a car, so you can get to and from the airport, to the shops to stock up on top-tier Italian supermarket snacks & beers and hopefully grab some lunch in the local areas.
-
Will I need cash? No, you will not need money for anything at any of the official Wedding events.
-
I am staying at the venue, who am I staying with?A few months prior to the weekend, we will send everyone their villas details, along with who they will be staying with, plus any other information you should need about the accommodation.
